Game Settings Breakdown

*Shared Settings*

General

Streamer Mode
When enabled, this setting hides the QR code on all personal devices and the main screen. This is particularly useful for content creators who stream their gameplay and want to prevent unauthorized access to their game sessions.

Remove Text Animation
When enabled, all text will appear instantly and not display any motion.

Text Language
Choose a language for all written text on the host screen. Choose from:

  • English (US)
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese (Brasil)
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Spanish (Spain)

Voice Language
Choose a language for all spoken dialogue. Choose from:

  • English (US)
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Polish
  • Spanish (Spain)

Skip Narrative
When enabled, character dialogue will be skipped on the main menu screen automatically.

Skip Tutorials
When enabled, tutorial explanations of game mechanics will be skipped for all players automatically.

Skip Cinematics
When enabled, character dialogue will be skipped on the main menu screen automatically.

Visual Settings

Screen Resolution
Players can choose from a variety of screen resolutions to match their display preferences.

Selecting the right resolution ensures optimal image clarity and performance based on the player's display capabilities.

Screen Mode
The game automatically is set to Borderless mode, which allows seamless switching between applications without minimizing the game. Other common options may include Fullscreen and Windowed.

V-Sync
When enabled, the frame rate of the game will be synchronized with the refresh rate of your monitor.

Framerate Cap
The game’s frame rate is capped at 60 FPS, ensuring a smooth experience while preventing excessive GPU usage. 

Combat Colors
This lets you change the color setting of the Movement, Attacking, and Interaction to your preference while playing Sunderfolk.

Quality
Select overall graphics quality, with the option for High or Low.

Gamma
Adjust the slider until the left image is not visible and the right image is barely visible.

 

Sound Settings

The following sound settings can be changed individually from 0 to 100. The default for all is set to 50.

  • Music Volume
  • Sound Effects
  • UI Sounds
  • Dialogue Volume

Under the Accounts & Links section, you’ll find the following options:

  • Help & Support - Access resources and assistance for any game-related issues.

  • Support Data - Allows you to copy specific information that might be required to receive technical support, including Game Version, Account ID, Server, and your Game Lobby Link.
  • Official Website - Direct link to the main website.

  • Terms of Service - View the platform's rules and usage policies.

  • Privacy Policy - Learn how your data is collected and protected.

  • Licenses - Overview of the various licenses.
  • Connect with us – Quick access to Sunderfolk’s official social media profiles.

Leave

 Leaving exits the game entirely for all players.

Restart Mission

This will restart the current mission for all players.

Skip Mission

Skipping a mission will let you complete the mission and move the players to the next mission or go back to the Town of Arden.

General

Haptics
Haptics are the tactile signal you get when performing an action. You can turn this on or off.

Text Language
You can choose one of the following languages to display in-game text on your device:

  • Simplified Chinese
  • Spanish (Spain)

Auto-Draw Fate Cards
When enabled, will automatically draw Fate Cards in combat without requiring user input.

Hold to Skip Action
This setting determines whether you can hold on the screen to skip your current action or how long you need to hold. Pick between:

  • Off
  • Slow
  • Normal
  • Fast
  • Faster

Cursor Sensitivity
Adjust how sensitive your cursor is when using your personal screen to select hexes on the main screen. 

  • Lower sensitivity: more dragging to select a hex, but easier to be accurate.
  • Higher sensitivity: lets you select more hexes but may be less accurate.

Tip: Adjust this setting in combat to test your changes right away.

Auto End Turn
When enabled, your turn will automatically end when you complete your last Skill Card action. This will prevent you from using Trinkets at the end of your turn.

Confirm To Skip Action
When enabled, pressing a Skip Action button will require another tap to confirm.

Combat Prompts
When enabled, you allow the game to send you prompts during Missions.

Sound

In the sound settings, you can customize the volume for sound effects and the user interface for your personal device.

Account & Links

Under the Accounts & Links section, you’ll find the following options:

  • Manage Account - Link your Dreamhaven account to the game. This will open in your device's default browser.

Disconnect

This option allows you to disconnect your personal device from the main screen, allowing your Hero to be claimed by another player or dropped in town without sacrificing experience.
